Weekly log 3



Week 3

Department: Marketing

Sunday

What I did:

#Did balance sheet for property management.
#Called Swaty regarding to the update expenses of property management so I could add it in the balance sheet.
#Attended a meeting with JRA group.
#Send an email for Swaty regarding to what I discussed to her through the phone.
#Organize the file for the Property management expenses from January to April and I sorted the file according three sections creative, Boards Signage and Mediaedge.

For these tasks I applied the communication skills and using Microsoft Excel.

What I learned:

#I learned how to create a balance sheet for the property management.

Monday

What I did:

#Responded to the proposals that offered by different organizations via fax.
#Fillings this proposal according to refuse offers and accepted offers.
#Called Al Wasl Hospital, to ask them about the procedure to organize a day for blood donation #for the staffs.
#Translated an Arabic proposal to English.

For these tasks I applied the communication and English skills.

Tuesday

What I did:

#Reviewed the Arabic website : I noticed that some of the links were broken, also there were some pages that didn’t translated to Arabic.
#Someone called me from the donation sector in Al wasl hospital, and she informed me about the whole process that I have to do.
#The HR department asked our department to create an announcement regarding to the proper dress that that employees have wear and which should avoid wearing it. So I required to find pictures from Google and send it them to marketing analyzers in order to design the announcement through Photoshop. (it was exiting work and out of routine)
#Wrote a refuse letter for one of the organization that they want sponsorship from Deyaar.

For these tasks I applied the communication and research skills

Wednesday

What I did:

#Attend a meeting for the marketing department.
#Review the changes in the Arabic website. (we found a lot of errors)
#Called some of the organization regarding to there proposal.
#Translated an Arabic article to English.

For these tasks I applied the communication and English skills.

What I learned:

#I became familiar about the professional meeting that being conduct in the organization.

Thursday

What I did:

#Review the correction that had been made in the Arabic website, and look for other errors.
#Review the manual of the new
project.

I used the process that I did in the college to review the website and the manual.
